Heart for India

Created in 2005 by the Princess Françoise Sturdza, the Heart For India Foundation is a non-political, non-governmental and nonreligious organization. The main goals for Heart for India is to help underprivileged children to access to education in India, and train young women to gain professional skills and get a diploma, in order to cut the cycle of poverty.

In 2005, Heart for India started its work in the Nanmangalam Government School in Chennai suburbs. Since then the Foundation grew up slowly but safely. Heart for India is now operating in 9 educational centers. With 10 years of experience the Foundation is deeply involved to solve other problems such as nutrition, health, hygiene, security and safety.
