Do I need to have a cosmotologist license to buy Hotheads?
Hotheads only sells to licensed cosmotologists.
Is Hotheads environmentally friendly?
Hotheads is doing everything possible to reduce our carbon footprint and decrease amount of plastic. Hotheads is working to be 85% plastic free by end of 2023!
What is the difference with Hotheads?

How do I get my license verified?
Once you create your account, you will go through a series of questions regarding your cosmotologist license.

How long in advance should I order for an appointment?
We offer a variety of shipping options including business day morning. However, we do not have control with Fedex delays.
Where is my order?
Once your order has been placed you should recieve and order confirmaton email. Within one business day you should recieve an email with tracking information for your order.

We offer all types of shipping including overnight options.
How do I track my order?
Once your order has been processed and shipped you will recieve an email confirmation with the tracking number.
Is my package insured?
You are able to add insurance during your check out process.
Where do you ship to?
Currently we are able to ship only with the United States.
How long does shipping take?
We offer a variety of shipping methods to best accommodate your needs. Delivery times are within the contiguous U.S., allow additional time-in-transit to AK, HI, and PO Boxes.
Ground: 7-10 business days
Home Delivery: 4-5 business days
Express Saver: 2-3 business days
Standard Overnight: Next Business Day Afternoon*
Priority Overnight: Next Business Day Morning*
*We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes. Please provide your street address for delivery. While exact time of delivery cannot be guaranteed, most deliveries are by 10:30am and others by 12:00pm. Some rural or remote areas can take longer. Orders shipped on Friday will be delivered on Monday.

Can I return without a receipt?
All orders are tracked and managed through your account. Please click HERE to process your return.
Can I get a full refund on a return thats been opened?

Extension Care
Can I color the extensions?
You may color our extensions, but they do void our Hassle Free Warranty. We recommend only using Demi-Permanent colors up to 2 levels darker than the extensions. We DO NOT recommend lightening the extensions.
Can I swim in a pool or ocean while wearing Hotheads® extensions?
You may swim in a pool or ocean while you are wearing Hotheads® extensions, but we do recommend saturating vour hair with water mixed with our Hydrate Deep Conditioning Masque prior to swimming. Always rinse your extensions out immediately after getting out of the pool or ocean!
Does shampoo have to be sulfate free?
We recommend using sulfate free shampoos, as they are more gentle on the hair.
What products should I recommend to my clients?
We recommend using Hotheads® Clean Shampoo and Smooth Conditioner for cleansing & conditioning. Our Hydrate Deep Conditioning Masque should be used at least 1x a week to offer additional moisture to second hair. Clients should avoid using products with alcohol, oils, and ethanol when using Tape or Fusion extensions.
Education
Can I reschedule my certification?
Education tickets are final sale. We understand life happens, so if you are unable to make your certification, please contact education@hotheads.com to see what rescheduling options are available to you.
Will I get a certificate?
You will receive a printed copy of your certificate for in person classes. Certificates will be emailed to you within 14 days of class for virtual certifications.
How do I become an educator?

How do I register for a certification?
You can register for a Hotheads® certification on our education page on the website, or by contacting your local distributor to see if there are upcoming classes in your area.

You do not have to be certified to use Hotheads® extensions, but we do recommend it!
